Set of six rare rosewood dining chairs by Ico & Luisa Parisi for Ariberto Colombo, Cantù. Sculptural frame with padded seat suspended on the pointed corner supports of the underlying x-shaped frame. Backrest curves upwards to create a butterfly-shaped section. Antiqued velvet upholstered back and seat.
This particular model is rare, well-documented, more sculptural than the more simple versions. Its proportions are generous and thus very comfortable.
